| Magazine Reviews featuring Quantum Of Solace |
The weekly BBC tv/radio publication has suited Daniel Craig on its cover declaring 007 SPECIAL! BOND Daniel Craig gives us his verdict on the new film. The bottom line mentions the reason Bond: The South Bank Show, Wednesday ITV1. So there asks the question: why isn't Craig on this week's ITV magazine TV Times ?
Inside the page 10 item opens with the bulleted heading of BOND IS BACK ... and large front facing Craig photo in same suit. It has the opening interview with him and continues as you turn over to see photo montage of roof chase in Italy. Item ends on next page with small past photos of Craig in tv roles. A column is given to BOND'S KEEPER co-producer Barbara Broccoli. Another page is split for YOUNG BOND AUTHOR Charlie Higson writes about how Bond has changed from Connery to Craig ( bottom page cut-out of 007 photos minus George ). Another column is given to THE STUNTMEN with Vic Armstrong with voted poll of TOP FIVE 007 STUNTS with CR crane jump coming out top. Another column is given on another page to Bond stuntman George Leach.
The magazine mentions three listings for Bond related programmes for week commencing 18/10:
This low priced magazine wets your appetite for the new 007 movie.

I've decided not to go magazine mad this time with Quantum Of Solace, I know I've missed some special edition mags already but I purchased this Total Film special as it came with a few extras.
As you see from the Craig photo cover with headline of BOND GOES ROGUE, inside there is a 10 page feature on the new movie but like most film mags there is no review of the film due to publishing times but their writer got to see a "10-minute promo reel of sexy, spy-thriller goodness" and go on location.
The main extra is the red label advising that you get a FREE 007[logo] MOUSE MAT which is about 8in x 7in in size with the familiar QOS poster but inside you find a small 16 page booklet called DRESS TO KILL which looks at fashion & gadgets, not all Bond.
So if you're rushing out to buy a film mag this may prove a good bet.
