Our Squadron Band

Well, in our Squadron Band we have, Woody, Adam, Stevie, Alex, Kyle, Ben, Jenna, Darren, Emily, Mel, Mr Arnold and not forgetting our band master Tim.

Unfortunatly our picture isnt up to date but it will give you and idea of the layout of the band.

We are currently using the tenor drum, snare drum, bass drum, bugle and the cymbols.

We are also at the moment trying to renew some instruments. We have a lot of drums that are getting old and we are replacing them and also we are getting some flugles, which are a cross between a bugle and a trumpet.

Every year we go to the rememberance day parade; in the morning we go to Lawford church and in the afternoon we go to Harwich. We also support the local Scouts on St Georges day in Clacton. We lead them to the church at Clacton-On-Sea the we stay for the church service then lead them back.

At christmas we lead Santa's float at the Manningtree Christmas festival.

A lot of the time when we started our marching, we got trodden on by the people trying to march. At Christmas the buglers stood on each other and got deafened by the players playing in our ears *Ouch* (mentioning no names, Emily....James!!!) We also like to trip each other up as we much yay fun fun, and ummmmmmmmm *hesitation* Get out of step ( I did not just say that ). The buglers, also like to run out of breath, and the buglers get so tired that they decide to die on us.
