Hi! My name is Marion.

Thank you for visiting my web pages. I hope you find something of interest. Marion

These pages are mainly about my interests, and family with some lovely pictures of Scottish Mountains as well, one or two Austrian ones and even some music thrown in for good measure.

I live in Scotland. I'm married to Henderson. Our family is grown up and married now but our grandson, Andrew lives with us. He took this picture of me on a ferry on our way to Belfast.

My favourite holiday destination is Austria. I've been known to paint a few pictures mainly in pastels and I do a bit of sewing. I've recently made kilts for Andrew and his cousin Oliver.

I completed a BA with the Open University which I found thoroughly interesting. I recommend studying with them.

I'm editor of our church magazine which can be downloaded from the Dumfries Baptist Church website.

We are very fortunate to be able to have as much food as we want, clean water to drink, nice clothes to wear and a roof over our heads. There are many people all around the world who would consider all these things as luxuries. East Africa is in great need at this time because of drought. My young grandson learned about this and wanted to do something about it. He's only 4 years old and has just learned to ride his bike without stablisers. He did a 5 mile bike ride on Sunday 7th August. You can see pictures of him doing this and you could still sponsor him at http://www.justgiving.com/olivers-bike-ride/
To date he has raised a total of 1,150 plus gift aid of 147.50 and we are very proud of him.

Alternatively, you could donate to  Christian Aid 's East Africa Food Crisis Appeal
