Spotlight is a club for 8 to
12 year olds.
There
is a time for fun, games, meeting friends and
also a serious time for talking
about God and his plans for us.
All welcome
- just turn up!
We meet each Wednesday at 6:00pm, finishing at 7:15pm.
(You can bring up to 50p for some tuck)
The Club’s
aim is to encourage children to learn about God, discover his purpose and love
for us in a Christian atmosphere. We discuss with the children moral issues and
situations relevant to their own experiences and understanding, learning the
truth from God's word - the Bible.
Each week
we have a “bible talk” and learn a memory verse, followed by an activity.
Activities include board games, crafts, cooking, movies, bottle game, hide 'n
seek, parachute games, Fish 'n Chip suppers and Ice Cream Factory. There is
also an opportunity to earn points and win prizes!
