- February 2007 -

This round started because we were all fumbling around looking for something positive to do with our various graphics programs and rendering software because after 12 years of the official IRTC, it had somehow been embedded into us that we HAD to do something! The craving was overpowering and something had to give. So, one of our talented PoV-Ray enthusiast friends, Thomas de Groot, suggested a topic of "This Is Not a CHeckered Plane" - and lo and behold, the beautiful TINA CHeP came to fruition. These images below are the first entries in what will hopefully be a good starting point reference for anyone wishing to start their extremely enjoyable 3D career, or for anyone that wants to continue expanding their skills. Unfortunately, this first round didn't have any kind of voting or comment system as did the official IRTC, but hopefully, this will be implemented before the end of the next topic of "Before and After".
