T&RA recommends: report all non urgent repairs by email and get an acknowledgement email as a receipt.

• For all repair emergencies, call the 24-hour freephone number 0800 952 4444
• Gas leaks 0800 111 999

When you request a repair

• Get a job number
• note the time
• take a name
• keep all evidence just in case you need to claim compensation

If help does not arrive within the time given CALL THEM BACK again!

Remember you must allow the Council a reasonable opportunity to repair things if it is responsible.

If you do not report defects and repairs in your home in a reasonable time you cannot expect refunds etc. (see Tenancy Agreement)

I am at my witz end! The Call Centre is driving me nuts! I have done everything I can - What do I do?

Talk to Sebasteon our Estate Officer and/or visit the Local Office.

I have a disability / I cannot use the phone or cope with the call centre system - What can I do?

Talk to your Local Office who must help you.

Keep in mind that our local office does not have staff to reports repairs for us. We are expected to do everything we can ourselves. If you disagree with this write to your local Councillor Jeff Hook and let him know!
