STL International Ltd  was founded with the specific aim of supplying end-users,
project specifiers, consultants/contractors, installers and system integrators as
well as OEM`s and distributors; with cost effective solutions and product
recommendations for hazardous area and industrial applications.

With more than 40 years experience,  STL can provide this and more.

The scope is wide. The chemical, petrochem, oil/gas and pharmaceutical industries,
also power generation, water/waste, food/dairy/distilling for example, are all
looking for expert advice, high service levels and competitive products.

STL has formed partnerships with a number of major manufacturers to provide
front-line technical support and application advice for their leading-edge
technology products, such as hazardous area and industrial lighting.

STL offers one of the widest available ranges of low maintenance and
maintenance free hazardous area and industrial light fittings and luminaires

including emergency lighting and for specialist applications such as dust.
The ongoing mission for STL is to eliminate the necessity to maintain lighting or,
at least, reduce lighting maintenance to an absolute minimum so that skilled and
valuable time can be better spent elsewhere on the plant or site.

STL can achieve this with the supply of lighting fixtures that are complete with either
LED or induction technology light sources, or long-life fluorescent tubes from Aura  or
Philips; as standard.  High quality, long-lasting materials and components e.g. ballasts
are used, and, where applicable, light fittings carry an extended warranty.
Added to this, pricing is very competitive.

STL use computerised light calculations for application specifics and projects  and can
custom-design and supply ancillary equipment such as UPS and  battery back-up systems
as well as control stations and panels.

STL have the knowledge and experience in all aspects of Hazardous Area  and Industrial
requirements. This includes application research, technical support/ evaluation, product
supply and training.
