When viewing the film, those involved, in order of appearing, are as follows: The phone is answered by a bespectacled officer who is probably the Biggin Hill Intelligence Officer. He speaks to 609's IO, Frank Ziegler. Once in the Dispersal Hut, the first speaker is Halliday Tidswell, the Adjutant, who introduces Flight Commander Joe Atkinson (Sir John Atkinson KCB DFC). The 1st pilot introduced is Raymond Dopere (Belgian, Killed in flying accident 23rd October 1942) 2nd is Johnny Wiseman (English, KIA 14th February 1943) 3rd (wearing a side cap, stood near the window) is Andre Blanco (Belgian, survived the war) 4th, hatless, is Alan Davis (English, KIA 23rd December 1942) 5th, introduced as Desmond. No further details. 6th is George 'Moose' Evans (Canadian, survived the war) 7th, making a noisy entrance, is Baron Jean de Selys Longchamps (Belgian, Killed in action on 16th August 1943 with 3 Squadron) 8th, following de Selys, is Howard Skett (English, survived the war) 9th, smoking, is Stanley 'Joe' Spallin (Canadian, Killed in flying accident, 5th November 1942) 10th, speaking to de Selys, is Roy Payne (English, survived the war) 11th, reaching the clarinet off the shelf, is Robert 'Balbo' Roelandt (Belgian, killed in action 26th August 1944) 12th, playing the clarinet, is Roy Payne 13th is Johnny Wiseman 14th, seated wearing a peaked cap, is Remy 'Mony' Van Lierde (Belgian, survived the war) 15th, to the right of Van Lierde and wearing a Mae West is Peter Nankivell 16th is ? 17th, resting, is Armand 'Fifi' de Saxce (French, killed in action 10th April 1945, with 341 Squadron) 18th, hatless, is Alan Davis 19th, hatless, is Alan 'Babe' Haddon (Killed in action 14th February 1943) 20th, bringing in the tea tray is 'Tad' Turek (Polish.
