Fault Diagnosis

Through our years of experience, we are able to diagnose most faults. Nowadays, apart from mechanical knocks & clicks, the electronic brain is where faults are recorded. We can analyse a cars ECU, determine the fault code & relate this to the actual faulty component.

You may not know that your car has a fault recording ECU, but these have been around since the mid '80's now.

Using a laptop computer and the latest software packages, fault conditions can be read, warning lights reset, keys coded, central locking programming etc etc - the hi-tech age has come to the humble mechanic. Luckily the 2 owners are trained in IT.
