'Hyfrydle' bungalow, 3 bedrooms, sleeps up to 6 This detached bungalow was originally a stone cottage, now considerably modernised and extended whilst retaining its original character. It has panoramic views over Cardigan Bay and is set in secluded lawned grounds. The bungalow has full oil-fired central heating. The newly-extended open-plan lounge and dining area provides luxurious comfort, with the dining area having a character inglenook fireplace allowing for an open fire in the Winter months. The sitting area has dramatic views over the bay. A TV with Freesat and DVD/CD player is available. There are 3 bedrooms, one containing a double bed, the other two each containing twin beds. The bathroom has a bath, wash basin, WC and a separate electric shower. The kitchen contains an electric cooker, dish-washer, microwave, fridge-freezer, electric kettle, toaster, iron etc. The utility room contains a 2nd WC, washbasin and washing machine. There is a large landscaped garden with a substantial patio area, garden furniture and barbeque. The large drive provides plenty of parking space. |

The Situation The road access to the bungalow is off the main road, giving complete safety where children are concerned. It has a large garden and provides superb sun-bathing facilities. The nearest beaches are at Abersoch and Llanbedrog, where there are public car parks nearby. The beaches are sandy, clean and perfectly safe for all water sports. The fishing village of Abersoch provides access to its golden sands from several convenient car parks and is renowned for its safe bathing, sailing, sail boarding and water ski-ing. Launching facilities for sailing dinghies and power boats are available at Abersoch, Pwllheli marina and Pwllheli harbour. Several excellent hotels have restaurants open to non-residents and local pubs serve good bar food. There are golf courses at Abersoch, Pwllheli, Porthmadog and Nefyn, and riding stables and lovely walks nearby. Leisure and fishing trips depart regularly from Abersoch harbour and the new marina in Pwllheli. Further afield there are many interesting places to visit. For inclement weather, the swimming pool and leisure complex at Pwllheli are to be recommended. A trip on the Ffestioniog narrow guage railway is not to be missed. Wednesday is market day in Pwllheli and other popular markets are held at Caernarfon on Saturdays, Llangefni on Thursdays and Porthmadog on Fridays. |

How to find Mynytho The bungalow is approached from Pwllheli on the A499, turning right at Llanbedrog on the B4413 to Mynytho. At Mynytho Post Office, keep left, bearing off the main road, the grass triangle should be on your right hand side. Turn left immediately at the end of the row of cottages into the narrow lane. 'Hyfrydle' is at the bottom of the lane to the right of Horeb Chapel. |
