Age Concern Cowplain Borrow Centre Fish & Chip day is Tuesday

These run from 10 am until 4 pm. Clients begin to arrive at 10 am, with Fish & Chips, fresh from The Lobster Pot in Cowplain, served at Noon

Tea & Coffee are available to purchase.

In the afternoon local school girls from Oakland's Catholic School serve Tea and Coffee, before a bingo session takes place between 3pm-4pm

A subsidised Taxi can be arranged in a very limited area covering the ward of Cowplain, others are welcome but must provide their own transport

As with all our services this is aimed at the independent older people in our area, to provide social interaction and a healthy meal in a friendly environment

Unfortunately there are no care staff on the premises as all our services are run by a team of dedicated volunteers

Regrettably this means ALL clients must be able to look after their own care needs
