School Report May 1893
NATIONAL SCHOOL. The Report for this School has been received and is as follows:
Mixed School. "The children are in good order and the elementary work and English, which have considerably improved, come out creditably, with the exception that there is a want of intelligence in the Arithmetic of the third and fourth Standards, and also that the writing in copybooks is not quite so good as it should be. The Needlework is fairly satisfactory and the singing deserves praise. Mr. Noyce has evidently worked very well under considerable difficulties."

There's at least two Francis Fripps in the region at the time
The LDS has
The Francis born 23-Oct-1797 at Christchurch to Robert Fripp and Eleanor Barrow is thought to be the one who married Elizabeth Collins on 29-Jul-1812 at Christchurch and is found on the 1841 Dorset Census at Wimborne Minster Francis Fripp born 1796-1801 out of Dorset A Tailor, Sarah Fripp aged 20-25 born Dorset, Elizabeth aged 14 born Dorset and on the 1851 Dorset Census at Wimborne Minster Francis Fripp born 1793 Sopley A Tailor, Elizabeth aged 24 born Christchurch a housekeeper and perhaps re-married Susan Scott on 12-Aug-1833 at Wimborne Minster
This one is most likely to be the one on the 1841 Dorset Census at Witchampton Francis Fripp born 1776-81, Ann Fripp born 1781-6, George Hibbard born 1816-21with a Robert and John Next door
and possibly on the 1851 Hampshire Census
at Romsey Francis Fripp born 1775 Farham Dorset (is this Farnham a stones throw from Tollard Royal) on the same page as Hannah and James Spearing they may even be in the same household all I have seen is a transcribed index !
Death Certificate 11-Sep-1850 Death of 'Grizle' Fripp wife of Francis Fripp, Labourer at Witchampton.
