INVOLVED IN ADOPTION

 

Many of our services are free and others are provided at highly subsidised rates to those living within one of our subscribing local authority areas. Those living in other areas may also qualify for subsidised services, so please contact us if you are unsure. For a full list of of all our charges, please see here.

We are able to provide a range of services to help people affected by adoption, so if you need support please call our helpline on the number above.


ADOPTION HELPLINE

Our telephone help and advice line is open between 9:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Thursday to provide support and assistance to all.

You do not have to be referred by anyone, just contact us. You will speak to a person during opening hours, not a machine!

You will receive a confidential and prompt response to your enquiry from supportive staff experienced in all areas of adoption.

 

INTERMEDIARY SERVICES

Advice and practical support to those who are searching for family members.

Access to adoption records where appropriate.

 
bullet

Assistance and support for those who may wish to renew contact, by facilitating meetings and reunions and offering support to everyone involved.

 

ADOPTIVE & BIRTH FAMILIES

Support and practical assistance for adoptive families.

Independent counselling, support and advice for birth parents and relatives where there is a plan for the adoption of a child.
