Module Title	Introduction to Systems Design
Module Code	CO1751
Module Description	This module introduces the concepts of 'system' and 'design'. The students learn about the process of system design, starting from a specification and experience it through an assignment involving the design and implementation of a simple system.
Module Objectives	to give students an understanding of the nature of systems, of the notion of design and of the system design process. to give the students the knowledge and skills necessary to use a semi-formal design technique to produce a design for a small system, starting from an existing system specification.
