The beautiful graceful shallow rake of the staircase is quite
breathtaking but not really possible to photograph.
Built by the socialist mayor of Bexhill who it is named
after, architects in 1935 were Erich Mendelsohn & Serge Chermayeff.
Unfortunately the negatives seem to have deteriated.
