The Challenge
The Polar Challenge is a competitive race in the Arctic, finishing at the 1996 location of the Magnetic North Pole and beyond (finish line beneath the deserted Isachsen Mine).
We competed in teams of 3. Our team has a background in endurance sports and a keenness to seek out adventure. We were on skis, hauling sleds containing all our supplies. The sleds each weighed about 90kg.

Whilst competing in the Arctic, as one of the world's most extreme environments, we endured temperatures as low as -50C and encounters with Polar Bears.
