EDUCATION:
1980-82: Studies of Psychology, University “Kiril e Metodi”
of Shkup
1982: Enrolled Faculty of Law at Prishtina University
1979/80: graduate in Gymnasium in Shkup
Elementary school completed in Shkup in 1974.
WORKING EXPERIENCE
1980: Announcer and producer of children and youth programs
in Television of Prishtina.
1982; Journalist, reporter and desk editor until 1994 in the
weekly political magazine “Zëri”. I covered political
events, writing also feature stories from the field,
analyses, commentaries.
1994: Journalistic in the German Foreign Service Radio
“Deutche Welle” for the Albanian broadcast. Until 1999 I
reported on daily events from Kosova, covering all kinds of
stories, conducting interviews, reporting from the field in
some of most dramatic moments for Kosova, including live war
reporting, filing commentaries, analyses, and all sorts of
journalistic pieces.
May 1999-December 2000: Desk editor for “Deutche Welle” at
its Seat at Cologne, Germany.
2000 – to date: Corresponding analyst for Deutche in
Prishtina, working as well as doing freelancing for various
journals and magazines published in Kosova.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Professional: My professional skills range from starting as
a journalist and reporter to writing commentaries, analyses,
editorials, feature stories, and serials. I also became
known for Kosovar mass media as author of interviews with
famous people, world dignitaries and noted personalities,
including several heads of state, and foreign ministers,
famous writers, artists, historians, scientists and other
renowned personalities. I appeared with analyses and serials
in a range of magazines and reviews published in Kosova. I
appeared in many successful Television shows. My name has
been recognized and known throughout the Albanian-speaking
world as a journalist and publicist.
PUBLICATIONS:
Poetry:
“Exercising Loneliness”
Many poems short stories in various journals of culture
throughout the Albanian-speaking world.
Music:
Since childhood I was a talented singer and I participated
in all major music festivals throughout Kosova and former
Yugoslavia, winning numerous awards. I have published
several disks on Albanian songs and cantatas, some of them
becoming musical hits and evergreens.
