Janet Pidoux S.W.A. S.O.F.A.
Janet Pidoux was born in Penn, Buckinghamshire and still lives
there with her husband. She has two grown up children, Andrew and Claire.
She has been painting for nearly twenty years and in l992 was invited
to become a member of The Society of Women Artists and in l997 a
member of The Society of Feline Artists. She has also exhibited with
The Pastel Society and The Society of Wildlife Artists.
In September 2006 she was awarded the Llewellyn Alexander Award for
an outstanding set of Feline Paintings at the annual London Exhibition
of paintings for The Society of Feline artist.
Janet produces extremely fine and detailed work which is unusual in a
medium such as pastel. She is especially known for her animal
paintings which often feature her own cats.
Her work is in private collections worldwide and has been reproduced
on many occasions for the print market.
She happily accepts commissions.
