When
diving Anglesey, we usually dive out of Trearrdur
Bay, where the
concrete slipway and safe launching conditions make
an ideal base.

The
'Flint Wreck' is a shallow (8-10m) dive outside the
Holyhead breakwater.
It is diveable in most conditions, but it can be very
murky in and after bad
weather!

Divers
returning to the boat after diving the Flint Wreck.
Finds on this wreck include shaped flints used for
a short period in history to ignite the powder in
cannon, and shards of pottery which formed part of
the ship's
cargo.
