St Albans Folk at the Festival 2012
St Albans Council has now reinstated us in its festival, as a community event. Fuller details will appear on our new web site in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, you can download the programme here.

Folk at the Festival, now known at St Albans Folk Festival will run from June 25 to July 6.

Monday June 25       St Albans Morris Men and Tappalachian at the White Lion, Sopwell Lane.
Wednesday June 27  Traditional music session at the White Lion, Sopwell Lane.
Thursday June 28      New Roots showcase at Redbourn Folk Club
Friday June 29          Friday Folk Social Dance Club

Saturday June 30      Day of Dance in City Centre
                             Day of free folk music in the Old Town Hall, with showcases and open stage spots in the Old Court House, singarounds in the cells and                              sessions and slide guitar workshop in the Assembly Room.
                             Evening concert at the Old Town Hall, with Philip Henry and Hannah Martin plus New Roots finalists The Beldons. Tickets £12, £10 student concessions. Tickets available in person from St Albans Tourist Information Centre 01727 864511 or online at allaroundstalbans.com
Sunday July 1          Singarounds and sessions in local pubs. 
                             Sessions: The Boot, Market Place, 12 noon, The Portland Arms, Portland Street, 8pm
                             Singaround: Lower Red Lion, 4.30pm

Tuesday July 3         Singaround with Run of the Mill, the King Harry, King Harry Lane.
Wednesday July 4     St Michael's Street Folk Evening. Dancing in the street and music in its four pubs.
Thursday July 5        Open Stage at Redbourn Folk Club.
Friday July 6            The Devine Family plus New Roots 2011 finalist Ollie King at the Maltings Arts Theatre
