Hall Half hour has been revived in order to provide a
fun way for young families to attend worship. On the second Sunday of each
month there will be 30 minutes of worship, songs, prayers, Bible stories and
refreshments for under 7's, parents and relatives. Families will meet in
Church at 10.00am or in the Hall at 10.10am. The first session took place on
April 13th 2008 and there was a good turnout, with about 8 families
attending. Reverent Breckles played his guitar and got the children all
clapping along to 'He's got the Whole World in his hands'. The children
heard the story of the Lost Sheep and said some prayers then got to make a
sheep at craft time before juice and biscuits. A fun time was had by all.
If anyone knows any families that might be interested in
coming along please do encourage them on the second Sunday of each month. We
look forward to welcoming lots of new families to this really child and baby
friendly gathering. |
