Alnmouth Railway Station c1900

This photograph of Alnmouth Station, taken c1900, is looking south. The East Coast Main Line tracks are on the left heading off under the road bridge at the bottom of Bilton Bank. The photographer is standing between the double tracks to Alnwick, some 3.5 miles to the west. The large double road engine shed is to the right. Today, only the mainline tracks, platforms, signal box and Station Cottages (behind the engine shed) remain.
