Wheatley -
Constant Billy
This stick dance is included for completeness and variety, but it's noisy
rather than interesting.
- Chorus
- Facing across and stepping, the dancers bring the sticks down and around
in an anti-clockwise sweep, clashing only at the top on the third beat of
the bar. This is repeated six times and the last two bars are closed
side-steps.
- Finish
- For the last chorus, following the double hey, the side steps are omitted
and the sticking continues with a low clash on the first beat of the bar as
well as the high clash on the third. Quite startling if the sticking's
clean.
