The British Trees web site was created by Bill
Unsworth at the end of 1994. British
Trees was one of very first non-academic sites to be set up in the UK. In fact
at the time there were less than fifty such sites in existence.
The site contains a great deal of information and many pictures including seeds,
and flowers of the British trees.
http:www.botanical.com This is a fantastic site for those interested in herbs and their uses. A hyper-text version of A Modern Herbal, 1931, by Mrs. M. Grieve. Over 800 varieties of medicinal, culinary, and cosmetic herbs, including economic properties, cultivation and folk-lore.
