Chris is a fully qualified electronics technician with over forty years experience in the job. From the age of ten he has liked to ‘dabble’ with electronic gear much to his parents’ chagrin - “Turn that sound system down!!!!” As he had also developed a great interest in drumming, at eleven, and joined his first group at fourteen his parents and neighbours must have been deaf! When the first motorbike appeared at sixteen.................

On leaving school at sixteen with five good grade ‘O’ levels, Chris was indentured to a large TV manufacturer from where he studied electronics at the local Technical College and University. Completing his apprentership Chris continued to work for the TV company for another five years, taking a nine months ‘break’ to work for a local HiFi manufacturer.

During these times Chris played drums in local bands and by the time he founded AMBERTRONICS was playing five/six nights a week. He finally hung up his sticks in 1986 after 22 years of very hectic playing.

I want to pee

“A pipe, a pot of tea and a ponder......”

If only life was this simple!
