The Unitarians have churches in Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow. But the Scottish Unitarian Fellowship provides a forum for individuals who may not be able to join one of these congregations.
Whether you find it difficult to reach a church or you feel that church attendance is not for you, we provide a link for people with a similar outlook.
What is the Unitarian philosophy?
We believe that the truth is best served where the mind and conscience are free.
We unite in religious liberty, free from the constraints of imposed creeds and dogmas.
We practice free and inspiring religion, through the celebration of life, the service of humanity; and reverence for the world and all its creations.
We acknowledge that some wish to worship what they understand as God. We also acknowledge that some prefer to look elsewhere for inspiration. We respect differences of opinion!
We affirm the liberal religious heritage; seeking knowledge and wisdom in the spiritual, cultural and intellectual insights of mankind.
We recognise the worth and dignity of every person, maintaining their right to civil and religious liberty, whilst recognising the liberal Christian heritage of the Unitarian movement.

Membership
MEMBERSHIP is open to all who express a sympathy with the Unitarian principles and beliefs, which can be expressed as:
FREEDOM REASON AND TOLERANCE/RESPECT
and who feel able to support the work of the Fellowship by subscription.
The Fellowship is affiliated to the Scottish Unitarian Association, which has amongst its Vision Statement the objective:
"To strengthen links with individual members, particularly those who are not attached to any Congregation."
Members are cordially invited to contribute to the 'LINK' magazine which issued on a quarterly basis, and to communicate with the Ministers or Secretary by 'phone, mail, visit or E-mail.
APPLICATIONS FOR MEMBERSHIP should be addressed to the Secretary.
The Annual Subscription is £10.00 per person or £15.00 per couple. Cheques should be made payable to "The Scottish Unitarian Fellowship" and sent to the Treasurer, R. H. E. Inkson, 39 Woodend Place, Aberdeen, AB15 6AP.
