I have owned a number of small Japanese "grey" import motorcycles, and was introduced to the joys of the Honda Bros in 1997 when I purchased a Bros 400 (Mk1 400cc NC25).  In March this year, following the expiry of my 400 engine I bought a "project" Bros 650 (RC31) on eBay, which had previously not been registered in the UK.

The previous owner had modified the sub-frame to accept a Honda RC45 tail unit, had part modified a larger Honda NTV650 petrol tank to fit, and had also acquired RC45 race bodywork which he had started modifying to fit the Bros.  He had also bought some tasty aftermarket parts, like an EMC rear shock, BSM Vampire exhaust and a MPH converter.  You can see pictures of the 650 as it was being sold at the foot of this page.

I abandoned the project and, instead, took my standard rear sub-frame from my old 400 and put the 650 back to life.
