Junior Coaching at the Albert

 The Albert junior coaching programme covers kids from 4 to 18 and works on several levels. We have high achieving juniors, playing Graded tournaments and we have fun events for kids who want to play a bit of recreational tennis. The high achievers are supported with squad training, individual lessons and practice sessions, as well as being supported while playing in tournaments; from local Mini-Tennis events to County Championships. We also have five junior teams. Coaching for the little ones (we start at 4 year olds) begins at £2 for ½ an hour and goes on to £3 for ¾ of an hour for slightly older ones. Squads are £5/session, which are for an hour; an hour and a half for the older kids.

 Junior Club Night is on Friday evenings and costs £2 for two hours. It is a fun event with competitions; win boxes of chocs for prizes.

We also run training camps for the top players in the Algarve, Portugal and our tournament players are sponsored by Fischer Tennis.

Adult Coaching at the Albert

Most of the coaching for adults concentrates on beginners. We have group lessons during the week and a session on Sundays, for full time workers. All adult coaching is focused on getting people to play, so we have a supervised social event on Sundays from 2:00pm and we organise ‘networking’ so people can contact one another to play.
