Dave Ross
One of the key members in the late eighties

Mark Smith
His training shirt was RAKI 49 – enough said !

Eddie Watson
Highest Goal scorer of the late eighties

Neil Stephenson
One of the most intimidating players in the early days.

Dominick Hunt
Top Goalie and party animal

Simon Hunt
Defenceman and team commentator, provided great entertainment on long coach trips.

George Scully
George left a reputation (and his kit left a smell) that no other player has lived up to.

John Wynn
Forward, defenceman, captain and coach, a true all rounder

Brian Wind
As captain, we could always rely on Brian for the deciding goal.

Bill Carter
The Jack Russell of the team. Bill gave the opposition’s goalies constant stress in the crease.

Andrew Unsworth
Andy brought more than just Hockey to the dressing room, a LOT more.

Stephen Ayre
The man with, undoubtibly, the most devastating slapshot faced by the opposing goalkeepers.

David Akinson
Ex Roller Hockey player, who developed his on ice skills with us, before going on to captain the Hornets.

Chris Budd
After playing forward, defence and then goal, he eventually gave up.

Dale Gould
Another roller hockey player who left us to play for the City Wasps and then on to Sunderland Chiefs.

Stuart Joblin
A formiddable defenceman, who went on to play for Sheffield and Sunderland.

Carl Nelson
Carl played for the Dragons whilst coaching Durham Juniors and the University. Still coaching junior level at Whitley Bay, he now plays for Sunderland Bandits.

Phillip Murray
A wild card, who showed little respect for the opposition or the officials.

Paul Wind
His fast and furious style turned the opposition inside out, and when lined up with Carl Nelson and Phillip Murray, made a trio to be feared and reckoned with.

Carl Littlejohn
The smallest Big hitter to ever play for Durham.

Frank Downing
Formerly the coach, Frank brought back the old-time hockey style.

Paul Sanderson
The Joker of the team, who never failed to score – when he could see the puck! Famous for his designer sweat gear.

Chris Buckley
Proud holder of two 'Telford' Winners Medals, and is welcome back anytime.

Brian Butler
Hard hitting defenceman, put his back into every check and elbows! Ask Shaun Alderson.
