Hot Fusion Mobile Disco is based in the South West of England near Exeter, Devon and owned and operated by me, Andrew (Andy) Westcott, my objective being to provide a decent traditional style disco for an affordable price. My involvement with the mobile disco and DJ business began around the Exeter area way back in 1980, and I now offer my services for parties of all types in the East Devon, South Devon and Mid Devon areas, drawing on music from the 1950s right up to current chart material.
My business carries public liability insurance (PLI) and all electrical equipment is regularly tested (PAT) in compliance with the Electricity At Work regulations 1989 to help ensure everyone's safety.

It is impractical to quote exact prices without being aware of the full details of the event, but I understand that most people want at least some idea of what charges to expect, so I've produced a table which gives an idea of price based around a simple formula:

| Add for each half hour before midnight: | £8.00 |
| Add for each half hour after midnight: | £16.00 |
Using this formula as a guide, the following table demonstrates example prices for an informal party style event in a venue with easy level access and located within a few miles of Exeter - the cheapest scenario for an adult event held on any normal evening:
| 8:00pm until 12:00 midnight - 4 hours: | £130.00 |
| 7:30pm until 12:00 midnight - 4.5 hours: | £138.00 |
| 8:00pm until 1:00am - 5 hours: | £162.00 |
• A minimum charge of £130 applies to all bookings for adult events.
• Parties for children and teenagers under 18 are calculated differently and are generally rather cheaper if local - please e-mail for a quote.
• Upstairs venues may be declined, or a surcharge added, due to the weight of the equipment. Please inform me of stairway access so it can be discussed beforehand.

Please include the following information in your message:
• Your name
• Your telephone number
• The venue name and location
• The date of the event
• The start and finish times
• The type of event
Upon receipt of your enquiry I will calculate a quote and e-mail this back to you as soon as I'm able, normally within 24 hours. If you then decide to go ahead with the booking I will contact you again to discuss the finer details and obtain your address, then compile a booking agreement and send two copies off to you, one of which you will need to sign and return to me in the envelope provided.
Please take note of the following important points:
• The booking is not considered confirmed until I have received the signed agreement back from you.
• Please ensure the equipment will fit sensibly into the venue! ( It measures 12 feet wide, 6 feet deep)
• I will require an hour before and after the event for setting up and dismantling.
• Ensure I can get reasonable access to the venue using a Ford Transit, and can park.

My services are aimed at those who wish to hire a traditional style disco rather than the 'minimalist' setups which are becoming increasingly common. I carry a mixture of appropriate music stretching from the 1950s right up to the present day enabling me to accommodate a wide range of functions and age groups.
Typical events I cover include the following:
• Childrens' discos; (Recommended 7 years old or over.)
• Teenagers' parties, including 13ths, 16ths, 18ths;
• Any adult birthday events - 21st, 40th, 50th, 60th and so-on;
• Anniversaries;
• Engagement parties;
• Wedding evening discos;
• Fund-raising events;
• Public events such as festival and carnival evening discos;
• School discos;
• Christmas parties;
• New Year's Eve parties;
• 70s and 80s nights.
I am happy to accept a partial music play list for any event, although I would encourage clients to leave the decision to me as to when I play the tracks listed, and to assess their suitability. Please note I cannot guarantee to have every track listed, and such lists represent requests only, and are not a contractual obligation.
Presentation:
I try to ensure that I dress appropriately for any particular function, and am happy to comply with any reasonable dress codes the client may decide upon.
Although I don't believe a mobile DJ should remain silent during a performance, I also don't think he should be too much 'in yer face' either, or repeatedly talk over the music as I understand this is often rather annoying for the audience, so I attempt to maintain a reasonable balance and do not make jokes at other people's expense, or spoil the music with inane chatter.

Hot Fusion Mobile Disco sports a reasonably powerful sound system which I designed and built myself using high quality components, as my precise requirements were not commercially available. This no-compromise approach has enabled me to supply a sound system capable of producing high quality audio including the deeper bass sounds (assuming the music contains them) which can add real depth and a feeling of power to the music without requiring ear-damaging sound levels.
I also use a brightly coloured light show consisting of both traditional light panels and projected light effects, with the possibility of smoke effects or strobe lighting if requested and acceptable within the venue. (Please note that I don't use snow or bubble effects.) The sound controlled front light panels create an attractive focal point within the venue, the projected light decorates the walls, floor and ceiling with moving colour and if a slight haze is permitted, will create attractive coloured beams of light to enhance the atmosphere.
I carry backups of all vital equipment to ensure that in the unlikely event of a critical component failure, I should still be able to continue with the show.
Please note that the entire setup has a width of just over 12 feet and will protrude some 6 feet into the room, so please ensure the venue has enough room available for me to set up the equipment with room to pass on at least one side.
