1881 Census: visiting Samuel Blomfield Blyth at Haynes Green Farm, Layer Marney. She was unmarried.
1901 Census: Emily, 43, was living with her husband and 2 daughters at The Yews, High Street, Rayne.

She was married to Caleb Slann BLYTH (son of William BLYTH and Mary Ann UNKNOWN) in 1894. Their marriage was registered between 1 Jan 1894 and 31 Mar 1894 in Colchester District, Essex. Caleb Slann BLYTH was born about 1850 in Langham, Essex. He was the Executor to the Will of his father, William Blyth, on 5 Jan 1883. He died in 1923. He was a Commercial Clerk, Iron Works as per 1881 census. 1901 Census: Caleb is listed as an Iron Founder & Agricultural Implement Maker. He was an employer.
1902 Kelly's Directory lists, under the commercial section for Rayne, C.S. Blyth, Iron founder & agricultural implement maker; specialities, Rayne ploughs, root graters & prize steerage horse hoes. There is also an entry in the Saffron Walden commercial section for Caleb S. Blyth, Ironfounder, West Road. 1851 Census: Caleb, 11 months, was living with his family in Langham.
1861 Census: Caleb, 11, was living with his parents at Moor House, Langham. He was a scholar.
1881 Census: Caleb was boarding with Edwin Hurst at Well Terrace, Heybridge, Essex.
Jan 1882: Caleb was living in Heybridge.
1901 Census: Caleb, 50, was living with his wife and 2 daughters at The Yews, High Street, Rayne. They had a domestic servant and a nursemaid with them.
