A few years back I built a line following robot. It used light sensors to follow a white line. It also incorporated headlights and flashing lights as all robots should. Here are the pictures: |

Internal combustion mini robot? Now then those guys are science fiction but you might have come across that mini cooper robot thing that's been flying around the internet. If its real, its really impressive. I saw the website a few months ago there was videos , logs and everything. It looked like a certain Dr Mayhew had actually built an internal combustion engine out of mini coopers. This is an other robot I built with my good friend Luke. We called it James. It has light sensors for eyes and thanks to sensors on its bumper it reverses and turns away from obstacles if it hits anything. This was a very interesting robot because once switched on we could let it wonder around the lab without having to worry about it getting stuck. It was like having a pet. This was amazing because its only parameters were that it should move towards the most light and reverse and turn away if it hit an object. Here is James: |
