| A+ Tuition is based on the Northamptonshire/Warwickshire border, and the
majority of our tutors are based in that general area. However, we are
expanding, so do enquire - we may be able to help even elsewhere.

| A+ Tuition is owned by Judith Hayes MA (Oxon) PGDip CEng MIEE. |
| Since graduating in 1986, with an honours degree in Engineering Science
from St Catherine's College, Oxford University, until 2005, Judith worked
full-time in IT and engineering projects, but has always been involved in
tutoring, having taught adults in IT and youngsters in maths, science and
music. This included taking maths students through the very first year of GCSEs
- a turbulent and somewhat confusing time for everyone! Judith is also a marker
for Key Stage 3 National Curriculum tests. |
| Gaining a post-graduate training qualification in 2003, and through her
teaching at the local college, Judith has a good understanding of the learning
process, and believes that everyone deserves the opportunities that learning
can bring. She recognises that many students have lost confidence in their
subject, and often this affects their performance in other subjects as well.
Judith aims to rebuild students' confidence and make learning fun, with lessons
always tailored to the student's needs. |
| A+ Tuition was established in early 2005 to bring this philosophy to a wide
range of students, adult and children. The engineering world no longer has
Judith's services - but hopefully this is tutoring's gain! |
| Currently A+ Tuition itself offers tuition in a variety of subjects,
including maths, science (individual or combined), IT, economics, business and
music. The list is expanding all the time! Study skills tuition is also
available as a short course or integral to existing lessons. Future
plans include extending this range of school subjects and also offering other
business subjects, including Project Management, management studies and other
business skills. |
