will endeavour to ensure that the website is available and functional at all
times, but cannot be held responsible for any loss arising from
non-availability or loss of function of the site.
- By using this website to arrange tuition through A+Tuition, by responding
to any of the adverts on this website, or by placing an advert on this website,
you will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.

Tuition provided directly
by A+ Tuition
- Provision of tuition is subject to a suitable local tutor being available.
- Cancellation: One week's notice is required. In normal circumstances, 50%
of the usual fee will be charged if the tutor receives less than 72 hours
notice of cancellation. The full fee will be charged if the cancellation is
within 24 hours.
- Notice of termination: Two weeks minimum is required.
- IMPORTANT: Child Protection - a parent/other responsible adult must always
be present in the house during lessons. Your tutor will not give a lesson if
the pupil is alone, and cancellation fees may apply. Your tutor is
CRB-registered.
- Your tutor is self-employed and is responsible for their own income tax and
National Insurance - you are not acting as their employer.

Clients responding to
tutors' adverts
- This section of the website is offered purely as an advertising medium -
all contracts made through these adverts are solely between the tutor and
client.
- There is no charge to the client for using this service.
- IMPORTANT: Tutors advertising on the website have not been vetted in any
way by A+Tuition. Clients are strongly advised to make their own checks with
regards to suitability, including qualifications, experience and enhanced CRB
checks. A+ Tuition will not be held responsible in any way for tutors
advertising on this website.
- Fees are a matter for client and tutor to agree - A+Tuition does not set
tuition fee scales for advertisers
- All complaints should be taken up with the tutor, not with A+Tuition.
However, please let A+Tuition know if you have any reason to believe the
tutor's advertisement should be removed from the site.

Tutors' placing advertisements
- This section of the website is offered purely as an advertising medium -
all contracts made through these adverts are solely between the tutor and
client.
- Payment is due in advance, in full. Once payment is received and cleared,
the advert will be added to the website and the contact form set up. There will
be no refund of advertisers' payments except in exceptional circumstances.
- Fees are a matter for client and tutor to agree - A+Tuition does not set
tuition fee scales for advertisers
- A+Tuition reserve the right to remove any advert it considers unsuitable
without further consultation.
- Important: You are responsible for your own tax and National Insurance, and
for any professional indemnity insurance you may require. The HM Revenue &
Customs helpline for newly self-employed people is 0845915 4515. You may be
considered as part-time self-employed even if you also have a full- or
part-time job as an employee. If in doubt call the HMRC. A+ Tuition cannot take
any responsibility for your financial matters!
