Applicants are a computerised rock band based in London. They are well known for their tunes that are equally catchy and heavy, and for their fiercly fun live shows in which the perverbial fouth dimensional wall is constantly pierced.
Applicants were Paul Blades, Jeffrey James and Fidel Villeneuve until this year when Adam Boult joined them on drums.
Paul plays the guitar, while Jeffrey plays the melodica, bit of keyboard, and jumps a lot. Fidel does everything else.
We have recorded and released stuff for Brainlove, Tigertrap and Cherryade Records.

FIDEL TRACK FEATURES ON NEW DEAD BEATLES COMPILATION!

Fidel has contributed a track to the forthcoming compilation album, "Two of the Beatles Have Died". It showcases some fantastic music, and all the proceeds from the CD will go to a great charity, namely the British Lung Foundation. Fidel's track will be track 3.

14th April 2008:
Applicants debut EP called
Life in the Bus Lane
will be released on CD and to Download with a release date of August the 4th!
The album contaions 11 tracks including Applicants single "Crappuccino", along with the immensly enjoyable "Enjoy your Pizza, "He's a Man", and the majestic "History has been kind to Spike Milligan".
The album will be a co-release from Tigertrap and Brainlove records.
