Paint the sky. Paint the cloud shapes with indian yellow and the cobalt blue around.

Weak mix of ultramarine and vandyke brown for the distant hills. Use a stronger mix for the tree branches, windows and door. |

Wet the trees behind the house and a couple of the trees on the right. Fill with cadmium yellow, then (wet in wet) add hookers green and yellow green, to give shape to the foliage. |

Hedge to right and bushes to the left of the house, hookers green and yellow green, use vandyke brown for the shading below. Add some indian yellow to the hills. |

Wet in wet, hookers green and yellow green, and indian yellow for the grass areas. |

Roof. weak paynes grey with a bit of hookers green at the base. Ultramarine blue shading under the roof. Wash of indian yellow for the wall and a glaze if weak vandyke brown. |

Weak wash of ultramarine blue for the road. Paint in the gate with paynes grey. Paint the reflections in the water with a weak mixture of the colours used before. Paint in the grass with dark and light greens and paynes grey. |
