St Peter's Church Centre is a place of fond memories for many villagers who went to school there.
Over the last twenty years it's been well used by many people. But it's looking a bit tired and needs work doing on it. We want it to shout welcome
We want to put in new toilets, better access, better lighting and flooring and a new
kitchenette so that the two halls can be used independently and welcome more people. We want to spruce the place up so it's cleaner and brighter
We've been working away talking with builders and getting plans and permissions. Now we have to decide what we can afford, so that work can be done over the Summer of 2010.
Thanks to generous gifts from church members and a small grant from Mid Sussex District Council, we now only have to raise £75,000 to complete this
major phase of work. It's a lot to manage and we're asking for your help.
This work will make a big difference to the welcome people feel and how the centre can be used.
Please would you consider:
A donation now.
A pledge for later in the year.
A loan to help cash flow while we fundraise. Volunteering to help with painting and decorating.
Thank you.
