What is Round Table???

Round Table is an organisation of young men between
the ages of 18 and 45. It was started in Norwich in
1927 by Louis Marchesi, a young Rotarian who saw the
need for a a club where young men could get together
round a table and exchange their ideas of common
interest. Since these early days Round Table has
spread throughout Great Britain and Ireland and
internationally. Today there are over 800 tables
with a total membership of around 12,000.
Each Table consists of young men who either work or
live in the locality and is therefore a
representative of the community in which it is
established. Most Tables meet at least twice a month
with a wide variety of activities taking place.
Great Britain & Ireland is divided into 54 Areas - with Area 39
representing Tables from Edinburgh, Borders and as
far as Berwick upon Tweed.
So - come along - and enjoy the fun and fellowship.
