DESCRIPTION: By the evening of February 21st British troops using tanks and flame throwers had cleared Goch of all its defenders, with the exception of a few isolated snipers. Fighting for the town had been bitter, and fierce battles to the north east where still going on when this picture was taken on February 21st.
