DESCRIPTION: A picture taken on 28th February as Canadian troops pushed on towards the Rhine from Calcar. Prisoners were many. The resistance at this point was mainly in the nature of heavily mined areas and fanatical snipers. Photo shows: Infantry following the tanks (picture issued March 1945)
