Ashford Common, Middlesex, UK What do we do?Outreach Our primary purpose is to lead people to living faith in Jesus Christ in todays world. Mission is the fundamental guiding principle for all aspects of our church life. Each church member is encouraged to reach out individually to their contacts, as well as church based events. Our events have included a summer barbecue with live entertainment, a Christmas Cafe and a meal with a meaning (a meal in a local pub with after dinner speaker). All events organised have a strong Christian content and the opportunity for discussion. Fellowship Groups Fellowship groups have been always been an integral part of life at ACBC. At present, there are two groups which meet in the morning and evening on a Wednesday. The morning group has approx. 9 regular members and the evening group approx. 6 members. Church members are encouraged to attend for pastoral care, teaching and spiritual growth. Studies in the last twelve months have included Spiritual Gifts, Christian Character, and Spiritual Warfare. Collective Worship Morning worship is lively with a balance of worship, prayer and teaching. Time is set aside for Communion and personal ministry. Following biblical examples, people are encouraged to take an active part . Our Sunday evening meetings vary in style and include prayer, personal ministry, Communion and visits to other local churches. Sunday Club The Sunday Club aim is that every child should grow in the knowledge of the Lord, to make a commitment to Him, and be encouraged to grow as disciples, experiencing Him in their daily lives as their Saviour.
