ACBC Vision.jpg (28714 bytes)

We have a vision of a church where the Holy Spirit is much in evidence.  A church which has a direct ministry to the needy people in its neighbourhood, and to the wider church.

We see a church where the members are engaged in the community for the benefit of the community.  We see a church which is a worshipping church, bringing glory to God in praise, adoration and worship enabled by the Holy Spirit.  We see a church which is a caring church where members demonstrate their love for one another in small groups.  We see a church which grows in its love of God and in numbers as the Holy spirit guides and enables.

Calling and Mission

What we are here for:-

Honouring God; Making disciples; Serving Community

Our Expectation

What it will look like when the mission is fulfilled:-

Honouring God

  • We bring Spirit-filled, heart-felt worship

  • We give regular Testimony to what God is doing amongst us

  • We are recognised as people who walk according to God's ways

  • God's name is respected in the district

Making disciples

  • We will see more disciples because we have seen the Holy Spirit save people after our Evangelistic work

  • People's lives and lifestyles become more Christ-like, being positively affected through biblical teaching

  • Disciples show increased Fruits of the Holy Spirit and use the Gifts he has given them

Serving Community

  • We reach out into the local community as the hands of Christ

  • We minister to the weak, the lonely and the lost

Values

People will see us as:-

  • Welcoming, friendly, a loving fellowship, caring for each other

  • Outward looking, having a Kingdom perspective

  • Honest, sincere, reliable, trustworthy, people of integrity

  • Seeking Holiness, Godliness
