| Adult GroupsPrayer Morning - This is held at All Saints Mattishall in the Lady Chapel (entrance through main church) at 9:15am every Monday, and provides the opportunity to meet with friendly people to pray or be prayed for.
Cell Groups and Home Groups - These groups are held in people's homes. Cell Groups aim to multiply then divide. They do this by encouraging everyone involved to personally develop and reach out to friends and family. The main differences between Home groups and Cell groups are demonstrated in the diagram below.
Cell Groups are provided with material each week which is intimately linked to the previous week's sermon. There are currently six cell groups and three home groups, some of which are described below.
There are three cell groups which meet on Monday evenings. They have a time of worship and prayer and then they discuss the topic or section of the Bible chosen. To find out more information please contact the Church Office.
There is another group that meets at 7:30pm on Thursdays. The evenings include Bible study, prayer, laughter and sharing. Contact the Church Office for more details.
There is another group that meets on Monday afternoon at 1:30pm during term time. They start with a time of sharing, then an opening prayer, then a time of worship. Then there is some study time using materials provided by Gordon (vicar), and close with a prayer. If there is a need to share and pray about issues then this is the way the meeting will go. There is a cell group that meets regularly, during term time, on Tuesdays. They discuss points of interest, then move to a time of worship. Following this they go into Bible Study, then prayer and refreshment and general chat. Contact the church office for more details.
There is a home group which meets at 7:45 each Tuesday, except during the main school holidays. The session lasting just under two hours starts with a welcome and an opening prayer. This is followed by a song or hymn of worship, a discussion on a passage from the Bible and ends with a time of prayer for the needs of others and ourselves. Men's Discipleship Group - This group is for Christian men to share with one another and encourage one another. They discuss topics that are relevant to how we live our lives as Christian men in our homes, churches and communities in today's world. This is held fortnightly on Wednesdays.
