About AspireSpace

AspireSpace is a membership-based organisation. Our members are engineers, scientists and other enthusiasts with an interest in building and operating rockets and space hardware, with the common dream of creating Britain's own space programme.

Our vision is to energise and excite a future generation of scientists, engineers and enthusiasts by utilising space on an everyday basis through practical, evolutionary experience. We believe that access to space should not be limited to the lucky few but should be available to all people who wish to push back the frontiers of human experience.

Our objectives are:
1. To develop low cost reusable rocket vehicles capable of delivering scientific payloads to the edge of space, and ultimately launching small satellites into low earth orbit.
2. To promote the education of young people in science and technology through active participation in our rocket programme.
3. To promote a greater understanding of space related issues and to persuade a sceptical public of the merits of a British space programme.

Through our extensive research and technical achievements, we aim to demonstrate that affordable access to space for academic institutions, businesses and individuals in the United Kingdom is not only desirable but is also achievable within the next decade.
