First shot of the night. A cold night, with some snow on the ground. Orion rising over the town of Penicuik. I was out trying to capture some Geminid meteors on film, as this was the peak night. I saw plenty but didn't capture any on film.

The colour cast is mainly due to this film type. A grainy film, due to its speed.

Aircraft trail visible and a streak from a streetlight or house light shows the length of the exposure.
