I saw this cloud during our family holiday to Teignmouth, Devon. I was lying on The Ness beach when I noticed something familiar about it! I quickly took a picture with a Fuji F601Z digital camera. Taken at 16:03 on the 28th June 2003.

The image has been converted to black and white and adjusted in Photoshop to improve the contrast. Not a bad match considering. If only I could capture nebulosity like that in my astro images.

The right hand view is part of an image taken at 20:57 on 3rd November 2003 at West Linton, just outside Edinburgh. Using a Pentax ME Super & 300mm f4 SMC Takumar lens. Exposure was 3 minutes on Kodak Ektachrome E200, adjusted in Photoshop.
