Every year most cadets from our squadron go to at least one camp and often more. There is usually an Easter Camp, several Summer Camps and sometimes others through out the year.

Camps can be anywhere in the country and there are sometimes opportunities to go to overseas camps. Camps offer a great variety of opportunities for our cadets to experience a wide range of activities from flying, shooting and adventure training, to swimming, bowling and social activities.

The camps are subsidised by the RAF so normally, for camps in this country, cadets only have to pay for their food, approx £45 to £50 per week.

Camps give the cadets a chance to experience things that are not available to them in their normal daily lives and help to develop their personal and social skills.
