
My name is Martin Attfield. I'm married to Rachel and we have three children, Elizabeth, Benjamin and Kirsten.
After graduating with a degree in hotel management, I spent about eight years working in the insurance industry in admin and customer care before moving on to follow my interests working for a local charity, which is where I got into computers and the internet. From there I moved on to work with IBM in Manchester as a Support Analyst on their Shared Helpdesk, combining my professional interests in computing and customer care, before moving to my present role as Administration Manager for the Methodist Church Resourcing Mission Office in Manchester, where I am responsible for a range of administrative duties, database development, IT support and whatever else needs doing!
Rachel graduated from Hull University with a degree in Law, and after completing her postgraduate professional exams went on to work for a local firm of solicitors. She currently works part-time in North East Manchester, specialising in family law (child care, contact orders etc.).
