Audax Altitude Awards

The Audax Altitude Award is for obtaining 20 AAA points over any period of time. An AAA badge or medal is available (it's one or the other per award, not both).

If some of the qualifying points were on the old, pre-2009 AAA points basis, the total pre-2009 points can be converted to 'new' points by using this formula:

total ‘old’ points / 12 x 20 rounded down to the nearest quarter point = 'new' points.

The AAA Triple Award is for completing 3 AAA awards. These awards may have been completed before or after the 2009 change to the AAA points scheme. A cloth badge is available to buy.

The AAA 3x3 Award is for completing 3 Triple Awards. A cloth badge is available to buy.

Claim these awards by sending or emailing me, the AAA Man, a list of the events and the dates they were completed.

If you would like a medal or cloth badge (as pictured above), either:

1. Post payment to me (if a cheque made payable to Steve Snook). My postal address is in the AUK Handbook. Please do not send a stamped addressed envelope.

Or:

2. Send payment via Paypal to my email address which is at the bottom of this page.

Prices including postage and package are:

AAA Medal £3.50

Audax Altitude Award, Triple Award  and 3x3 Award cloth badges £3.00.

AAA cards used to be required as proof of brevets completed. They are now optional and may be used for this, or simply to keep a record of AAA events you have ridden. Ask the organiser to stamp and sign your card on completion of each event when you hand your brevet card in. Cards are available from the AAA Man for £1 including postage and package. My postal address is in the AUK Handbook.
