Links To Useful Web Sites

The DDA Education Committee arranges courses and provides some of the notes used by instructors on its web site. Since such notes are intended to be accompanied by the outpourings of an instructor some of them may seem incomplete but there is some useful stuff here.

Some individual ringers have produced their own notes and web sites. Different writers have different approaches and so you may find something that just suits you here. You may also have something of your own which could be added. Please let Aunt Sally know.

The Gordon Halls Ringing Centre at Eckington has its own web site where information about its activities can be found. Many sessions in the basic methods are held there, usually on Saturday mornings, and these are open to anyone. This web site is worth exploring.

The Central Council Of Church Bell Ringers, in all its wisdom, has a useful site where much information about the national organisation of ringing can be found. There are also educational articles and you will also be able to find the definition of "Treble Bob", "Surprise" and much more here. This site should be fully explored.

The Ringing World website contains lots of news and similar information. In particular there are notices and announcements which can prove very useful if you like to get about.

The Ringing World's arch enemy, Campanophile, is a web based alternative to the Ringing World. Why not have a look at it; what's the worst that can happen?

A ringer called Roger Bailey maintains a very full web site which contains links to many other ringers' and towers' web sites and much more. This site is worth a long look round.
